The Moral is the Practical

If the United States universally upholds and protects the principle of individual rights, as it should, it thereby provides safe haven for the greatest of mankind’s thinkers, who will flock to this country—as they once did—from all over the world.

The result is that geniuses both native-born and immigrant will once again transfigure our culture in every conceivable field—as did, historically, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, the Wright brothers, George Washington Carver, Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, Maria Montessori, Albert Einstein, Ayn Rand, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and a host of others.
